Point Numbers from CAD

The Numbers options allow you to assign numbers to points by searching for text strings in the CAD models in the backcloth.  An example of the use of these options is the assigning of pile names to points for setting out.

Numbers Indicated - requires that you indicate a point and a text string representing the number.  This option will not follow the pick mode.

Numbers Closest - will search the CAD backcloths for the closest item of text to points and assume this represents the point number.  This option follows the current pick mode, so you will either be asked to indicate a point, sketch a rectangle or confirm a list operation.  With this option, you should ensure that all other layers containing irrelevant text are turned off.
