Lines - Gap Extrude

As part of the 4.40d release, a few new functions have been added and one of them is Extrude. It can be found in the CAD space under the Lines tab and Gap function:

The Extrude function was created to allow you to pull out a section of a line at 90 degrees to create an extrusion. The width and length of the section are controlled by the user. The idea behind this function is to allow you to easily recreate the construction walls and building structures.

The Extrude tool can be used in tandem with the rounding option, as seen in the video above. Rounding will ensure consistency when creating multiple extrusions and that is done by rounding it to the nearest mm value selected on the list. There are multiple rounding values to choose from when using the rounding tool.
