There are some basic options in the context menus of the grid view of the model points that allow you to add points to and remove points from the Select List. If you right-click over any value in the grid view a context menu will be displayed like the one shown in the example below. In this menu, will be a List option that generates a short pop-up menu.
Note that when a point is on the Select List, it will be displayed in the grid view in a darker cyan than points that have not been selected. When using the general selection tools of the grid view, points that are on the Select List will be displayed on black whilst points that are not will be displayed in red.
General Operations
The Select option from the List pop-up allows you to add the points on the Select List to the current grid selection. These points will be displayed in red rather than the normal black. You can use the accelerator key combination Ctrl+L to perform this option.
The Clear option allows you to clear the Select List. All points will be removed from the Select List and then be redisplayed in the lighter cyan.
The Invert option allows you to invert the selection of points. All points that are on the Select List will be removed and all points that are not will be added.
List Using the Current Grid Selection
The Add options allow you to add some or all the points in the current grid selection to the Select List. If any of the points are already in the Select List, their status will remain unchanged. The Add Selected option allows you to add all the points in the current grid selection to the Select List. The Add Alternate option allows you to add alternate points from the current grid selection to the Select List. In this option, n4ce will add the first, third, fifth and so on points.
The Remove options allow you to remove some or all the points in the current grid selection from the Select List. If any of the points are already not in the Select List, their status will remain unchanged. The Remove Selected option allows you to remove all the points in the current grid selection from the Select List. The Remove Alternate option allows you to remove alternate points from the current grid selection from the Select List. In this option, n4ce will remove the first, third, fifth and so on points.
If the situation arises where you would like to add or remove alternate points starting with the second point in the current grid selection, you will need to specify the current grid selection in the same way as you would for the options above. You will then need to remove the first point from the current grid selection.
