The Boundary options allow you to work with DTM boundaries. The Boundary Commit option allows you to commit the current DTM boundary as a series of CAD polylines in the dedicated CAD backcloth. After the option is selected, you will be asked to select the layer, line style and pen for the lines.
The Boundary Co-ordinates option allows you to save the current DTM boundary to a series of points in a co-ordinate block. This co-ordinate block can then be used in other DTMs within the existing project or those in other projects. You will be asked to enter the name of the co-ordinate block that is created and then the code that is to be assigned to each point. Where necessary, points will have the new string comma code, N, or the closed polygon comma code, P.
The Boundary Import option allows you to import a boundary as feature strings from an existing DTM. You will be asked to select the DTM. Within the DTM Selection dialogue, there is a Code field which allows you to specify the code for the boundary features. Again, appropriate comma codes will be added.
