Trimble Link Engine download

The Trimble Link Engine allows you to export your data in the TTM format. That said, it must be downloaded and installed on the computer you are using n4ce on to be able to work.

If you have tried exporting your data and got the message above, then please use the following link to download the Trimble Link Engine: Trimble Download

The link will open a webpage where you will need to select 'Downloads' followed by 'Trimble Link Engine Installation'.

Once you have clicked on the Trimble Link Engine Installation (Version 2, Build 37) link, the file will start downloading. You can see the progress in the top right-hand corner of your browser:

Click the download to start the installation.

Once complete, you will still need to register with Trimble to receive your Activation Code before being able to export data in the TTM format. To gain access to the registration webpage, you will need to use the Export - Trimble Link and select the TTM option in n4ce, which will open the screen below. The arrow indicates the link where you can complete your Trimble account registration:

An error message may appear when attempting to register if you are outside the United States. This is because the registration form asks you to enter your "State/Province"; however, it only has American options. The way to overcome this is by clicking on the "State/Province" drop-down box and selecting the empty option, then you can input your "State/Province" into the box below, as shown in the short video below:

Once the registration has been completed, your authorisation code will be presented to you on the following screen.

This can then be inputted into the "Authorization Code" field as seen below. You will need to select the "Yes, I Agree" button to complete the authorisation process. If the button isn't selected, the "OK" button will remain greyed out.

Once you have clicked the "OK" button, n4ce will reappear and the "Save As" window will be present, allowing you to export your data in the TTM format.
