The View tab opens up numerous functions you can use to view and manipulate your CAD drawing as explained below:
Zoom
- Fast: This feature allows the user to zoom in on a specific area by selecting a two-point rectangle window.
- Centre: Users can select a centre point of data and extend the viewing window to the required size.
- Scale: Allows the user to enter specific values in which to scale the current view.
- In: Will zoom in on the current viewing window.
- Out: Will zoom out of the current viewing window.
- Factors: This will allow the user to select the zoom factor when scrolling in and out of the current view.
- Previous: Will return to the previous view window.
- Next: Returns the window view back to the last setting it was changed to.
- Chainage: Zooms to a nominated chainage or an alignment string.
Pan
- View: Allows the user to drag the current view to a new position.
- Window: This function will drag the current window to a new designated position
- Coords: Allows the user to pan the current view to be centred on required coordinates.
- Left: Pans the current window to the left.
- Right: This tool will pan the current window to the right.
- Up: This option will pan the current window up.
- Down: Pans the current window down.
