Parallel - Features Through Other Points

The Thru Point options allows you to create a parallel feature by indicating a point through which the parallel feature must pass rather than defining an offset.  In this case, the offset is calculated by projecting the indicated point onto the reference feature.

The Thru Pt All option allows you to create a feature parallel to an existing feature in its entirety.  You will be asked to indicate the reference feature and then the point through which the parallel is to pass.

The Thru Pt Between option allows you to create a feature parallel to part of an existing feature.  You will be asked to indicate the start and finish points of the parallel section followed by the point through which the parallel feature is to pass.

The Thru Pt Segment option allows you to create a feature parallel to part of an existing feature.  You will be asked to indicate the start and finish points of the parallel section followed by the point through which the parallel feature is to pass.
