v5.00 n4ce July BETA

Thank you for downloading and testing the new version 5.00 n4ce BETA.

Once the install process has completed, an "n4ce 5.00 BETA" shortcut will be placed onto your desktop.

The first time you run v5 there maybe a delay of around 10 seconds while it initialises. After that start ups should be normal. 

If v5.0 fails to start at all, then it maybe because of a graphics card issue.  Generally we would advise something similar or better than an Nvidia 2060 GPU for running v5.  You can also consider updating your graphics drivers to the latest versions if n4ce does not start. This is especially the case with older GPUs lower than 2000 series cards.

Officially these are the new minimum GPU specs for v5.00

Nvidia RTX series or GTX 1600 series (Turing Architecture)
AMD RX 5000 series and later (RDNA Architecture)

Reporting Issues

Every time v5 runs, a log txt file is generated in the n4ce Temp folder. These contain important debug information for solving crashes and compatibility issues.

If you encounter an issue such as a crash or odd behavior please email support@appsincadd.co.uk with a description of the problem. together with a copy of you latest log file.

Known Issues

• The 2d preview of live sections cut line in a model does not move when the cut line is adjusted. The section preview will update, just not the position of the cut line.
