Querying Symbol and Shape Features

The Object Symbol and Object Shape options allow you to query either a symbol or shape feature and you will be asked to indicate the feature with the graphic cursor.  When the feature is found, the points used for the feature are highlighted and a dialog box similar to that shown below will be displayed.

The main list control works in the same way as it does for a line feature but the vertical profile is of no real use and so is not displayed.

The data displayed between the list control and vertical profile pane relates to the queried object.  The type of symbol or shape is displayed together with some additional information.  In the case of a rectangle, the width and length of the rectangle will be shown whilst for circles, the radius will be displayed.  For symbols, the scales will be displayed together with the name of the symbol used.
