When displaying bathometric depths, the required convention is often that the decimal part of the depth is displayed at a smaller text size than the integer part of the depth. An example of bathometric depths is shown below.
To do this, a combination using the height and the text displays is required as shown below.
The Text property page specifies that the decimal part of the depth will be formatted to 2 decimal places and placed to the right of the point, left-middle justified. The Height property page specifies that the integer part of the depth will be truncated and placed to the top left of the points, bottom-right justified. The number of decimal places for the height should be set to Truncated and not 0 as the displayed text will be rounded to the nearest whole value if the latter is used.
