Or from the Instrument button in the reduction dialog box. For more information on setting up the software to comply with your instrument, click an area of interest on the picture above.
Reading Type
Specifies the format to expect the observations in. Three options are available HaVaSd (Horizontal angle, Vertical angle and Slope distance) or, HaHdVd (Horizontal angle, Horizontal distance and Vertical distance), or HaHdGd (Horizontal angle, Horizontal distance, Ground difference). By default, the format is set to HaVaSd.
Angles
Specifies the format to expect angular measurements in. Three options are available DD.MMSS (Degrees Minutes Seconds), Decimal degrees or Gons (Grads). By default, this format is set to DD.MMSS.
Distances
Sets the units in which all distances are processed by the system, includes Metric and Imperial units.
Vertical circle corrections
Enter a value in seconds to correct the vertical circle readings if the instrument is known to be out of adjustment.
EDM distance correction
If the prism you are using with an EDM is not compatible with the instrument, or if you find that the wrong prism constant was entered during the survey, use this field to make the appropriate adjustments.
Vertical circle azimuth setting
Selects the vertical circle azimuth, by default, this is set at 0 > 90, i.e. 90 represents true horizontal and 0 the azimuth.
Horizontal circle direction
Select the direction in which to measure +ve angles. By default, this is set to clockwise.
Flags
Set these options based on your preference
Alphanumeric Numbers

Slope Hz Offset Dimension
If ticked horizontal offsets reflect vertical angle, if un-ticked they are offset in plan.
Import GPS Statistics
When importing GNSS data, dimensions will be added with available GNSS statistics such as Hdop, Pdop, Vdop & RMS values.
